2. What’s the best wedding photography style for me?
The most common styles are:
- Documentary / Photojournalistic – Captures natural, candid moments with little to no interference.
- Editorial / Aesthetic – Artistic and posed, like what you’d find in a magazine.
- Classic / Traditional – Focuses on formal family photos and traditional wedding moments.
Our style is a mix between documentary and editorial..
We’ve developed a natural yet romantic look that reflects each couple’s essence. One thing our clients love is that they don’t have to worry about looking good in photos — we gently direct the posed moments so you always look your best while keeping things flowing and relaxed.
3. How far in advance should I book my wedding photographer?
Ideally, 9 and 18 months before the wedding.
Top photographers get booked quickly, especially between May and October, which is peak wedding season in Portugal.
We only photograph one wedding per weekend, so availability can run out fast — and we do this to ensure total focus and quick turnaround times.

4. Is it worth hiring a second photographer?
Yes, especially if:
- You're having a large number of guests, more than 200
- You want both sides of the preparation captured
- You don’t want to miss any spontaneous moments
A second shooter allows for a richer and more complete visual story of your day.
5. How many hours of coverage do I need on the wedding day?
It depends on your day’s flow. The most common is: 10 to 12 hours– from getting ready to the cake cutting or first dance.
You can also opt for partial coverage.
Our packages are flexible and adaptable, and most include unlimited hours, so you never have to worry about timing.

6. Is it worth doing a pre-wedding (engagement) session?
Absolutely! Besides giving you beautiful and relaxed photos, a pre-wedding photoshoot helps you:
- Get more comfortable in front of the camera
- Connect with your photographer
- Use the photos for invitations, your wedding website, or venue decor
We love this relaxed moment with our couples, which is why a pre-wedding shoot is included in our main packages.
7. I don't like being photographed... what can I do?
Totally normal! Here’s what helps:
- Choose a photographer you feel comfortable and connected with
- Do a pre-wedding session to break the ice
- Trust that you'll be gently guided and never forced into awkward poses
Our focus is to capture your essence with lightness, elegance, and natural emotion.
8. Will we receive all the photos? How many do we get?
Some photographers deliver a fixed number, others deliver thousands.
Over the years, we chose to deliver all the best images — the ones that truly tell the full, coherent story of your day. On average, you'll receive 900 to 1500 carefully edited images, delivered in a private online gallery you can view, download, and share with friends and family.
9. Do you edit all the photos or just a selection?
Yes, all the images we deliver are fully edited in our own timeless style: soft tones, natural skin, balanced light, and great attention to detail.

10. Can I send you a list of must-have shots?
Yes! It’s useful for family group shots and key moments. But we always leave room to capture the unexpected — because the best moments are lived, not planned.
Conclusion
Choosing a wedding photographer is about much more than price.
It’s about finding someone you trust, someone who respects your day and who knows how to tell your story through images.
If you’re drawn to a style that’s natural, elegant, and romantic —
we’d love to be part of your story.
