Karishma and Shivam envisioned an engagement session (or pre-wedding) that celebrated the best of two worlds: their cultural roots and their modern, relaxed essence. The result was an unforgettable afternoon, divided into three distinct settings, where romance always went hand in hand with plenty of laughter.
Colors and Tradition at Pestana Palace
We began our session in the stunning interiors of the Pestana Palace Lisbon Hotel. Karishma and Shivam wore their beautiful traditional Indian attire in vibrant shades of pink. This choice of palette couldn’t have been more perfect: it merged masterfully with the hotel’s classical architecture, frescoes, and luxury. We achieved a purely editorial aesthetic, but one where the couple’s high spirits and chemistry completely stole the show.
Timeless Elegance in the Gardens
Still within the exclusive atmosphere of Pestana Palace, we took advantage of its lush gardens for the second part of the day. The couple swapped tradition for Western attire, opting for a formal and highly elegant look. The contrast between the organic green of nature and the couple’s sophistication allowed us to capture classic, timeless portraits while maintaining the lightness and fun that defines them.
Golden Hour and the Breeze at Cresmina Beach
To close the session on a high note, we left the city and headed toward Guincho. At the incredible Cresmina Beach, we were gifted with the magical, warm light of the end of the day. Amidst the characteristic wind of the Cascais coast and the sound of the sea, Karishma and Shivam surrendered completely to the moment. We made the most of the golden hour to create pure, incredibly romantic images full of movement. The perfect culmination for this Love Session.
