João and Catarina didn’t find us by chance. We met at a mutual friends’ wedding, where they had the chance to see us “in action.” Our invisible approach and the fluid way we captured the essence of that day left a lasting impression. So, when it came time for them to tie the knot, they didn’t hesitate for a second to choose Boris the Cat to build their own visual legacy. And it all began here, with this incredible engagement (or pre-wedding) session.
The Serenity of Jardim dos Montes Claros
The starting point for this relaxed late afternoon was Lisbon’s “green lung”: Monsanto Forest Park. More specifically, the classical and serene surroundings of Jardim dos Montes Claros. Between slow walks and casual conversation, we broke the ice and recorded the couple’s organic connection. No forced poses—just the documentary fluidity that defines us, embraced by nature.
Golden Hour by the Tagus River
As the sun began to set, we went in search of that absolutely incredible light that only the city of Lisbon can offer. We headed down to the Belém riverside, right in front of the Tagus River. With a fantastic vibe and palpable romance, we made the most of the last rays of golden hour. João and Catarina’s undeniable chemistry, combined with the river’s shimmer, resulted in fine art photographs of raw and unforgettable beauty.
