Joana and Diogo designed a day where elegance met absolutely infectious energy perfectly. For the stage of this autumn celebration, they chose Quinta Valle do Riacho in Alenquer. The result was a fluid wedding full of personality, where our documentary approach had the space to shine in every laugh and every unpredictable detail.
Serenity in the Hall of Arches
Joana got ready in the beautiful Hall of Arches (Salão dos Arcos), wrapped in an atmosphere of pure calm and relaxation. The natural, soft light of this space allowed us to create timelessly elegant portraits. We were invisible presences, recording the bride’s tranquility and beauty in the moments leading up to the big day, without any rush or forced poses.
Relax at the Mezzanine and Outdoors
Diogo shared the same relaxed vibe. His preparation began in the mezzanine of the main hall, a space with shadows that give incredible character to the photos, but the day invited us to step outside for a bit. Between conversations and smiles, we captured his essence genuinely.
The “I Do” in the Main Courtyard
The civil ceremony took place in the estate’s iconic main courtyard, creating an incredible architectural and emotional setting. Surrounded by historic walls and embraced by their guests, Joana and Diogo exchanged promises in a warm environment. Our focus was on documenting true reactions, complicit glances, and the joy of that moment.
Time, Light, and Amazing Chemistry
We had a rare luxury on a wedding day: about 35 minutes dedicated solely to the couple. This extra time allowed us to explore the corners of Quinta Valle do Riacho with total peace. The fantastic chemistry between Joana and Diogo resulted in a super fluid, incredibly romantic, and relaxed session, where our fine art signature elevated every portrait.
An Explosion of Joy with a Champagne Showers
The entrance to the dinner was memorable: a true explosion of joy with all the guests on their feet as the couple passed through all the tables. With the arrival of autumn and the desire to avoid any risk of rain, the party was held in the comfort of the Hall of Arches, ensuring a cozy and high-energy dance floor. The climax of the night? The cake cutting, where Diogo decided to give everyone a champagne shower—photographers included! A moment of pure photojournalism that we loved immortalizing.
