Liliana and Nuno are living proof that it is never too late to find true love. To celebrate this new page of their story, they chose Quinta Valle do Riacho in Alenquer — one of our favorite retreats due to its plasticity and the organic diversity of its spaces. A day designed with unique elegance, but always grounded in the genuineness of a mature love.
Chatting in the Mezzanine
Nuno, has a captivating intelligence, got ready in the mezzanine of the main hall. Although the light in this space is a constant technical challenge, our documentary art approach embraces these shadows to create character. He wore a classic tuxedo, kept for some years but fitting perfectly, in a moment marked by casual conversations and admirable relaxation.
The Soft Light of the Hall of Arches
Liliana is one of those people whose heart overflows in every smile. Her preparation took place in the Hall of Arches (Salão dos Arcos), a space that always offers us a natural, soft, and magnificent light. Surrounded by her maid of honor and her children, the atmosphere was one of pure emotion and complicity, creating visual memories of immaculate elegance before the big moment.
The Ceremony at the Olive Grove
As late afternoon approached, the symbolic ceremony came to life in the Olive Grove (Jardim das Oliveiras), at the back of the property. It was a celebration driven by genuine and profound joy, where the couple’s children were fluidly involved in every moment. Documenting this family union outdoors, preserving every tear and every laugh without staging, is the core of our purpose.
Before the Light Fades…
Just before joining the guests for the cocktail hour, we stole Liliana and Nuno away for a brief session for two, so as not to waste the golden light of the end of the day. We explored the pool area and the surrounding gardens. Without delays or stiff poses, we captured their truth, ensuring they returned quickly to experience their party to the fullest.
An Unforgettable Dance Floor
The energy of the night culminated in a surprising moment. Liliana changed her dress for the opening of the dance floor, where the two glided beautifully in a moment of great intimacy. The climax? Their children joining them in a spontaneous choreography, almost like a flash mob. A long, free, and unrepeatable party, which now endures in an authentic visual legacy.
